Actions Plans

  • Support and promote the voices of young people and provide them with opportunities to express their views, concerns, and aspirations at local, national, and European level through initiatives such as the EU Youth  Dialogue.
  • Conduct ongoing surveys, research, and knowledge building - particularly through the Mirrors and Windows reports - on the lives of young people and compile a report on the state of young people in Malta every 5 years.
  • Put in place a system for "youth proofing" to help ensure that in enacting legislation and formulating national policies and strategic plans and initiatives, the interests of young people are recognised and taken into account.
  • Compile information on young people and youth-related issues for European and international reports e.g. Youth Wiki and the EU Youth Report.
  • Maintain and further develop Aġenzija Żgħażagħ social media portals and give quality youth information from the Youth Information One-Stop-Shop (YIOSS).
  • Raise awareness among young people of learning mobility opportunities through internships, volunteering, and studying abroad promoted by Eurodesk.
  • Promote and expand the use of the European Youth Card (EYCA - Karta Żgħażagħ).
  • Continue to develop and support initiatives that provide on-line supports for vulnerable young people.
